A rare and exceptional salted fish from Lamma Island's own fish farms. These sea bass (青鱸) are raised by our fishermen from fingerlings, fed on small ocean fish — resulting in a flesh quality and flavour that is incomparable to farm-raised fish fed on pellets. Every November when the north wind rises, the fish are harvested at their peak, salted and preserved in oil using traditional methods.

This is not just a condiment — it is a piece of living Hong Kong fishing heritage in a jar.

青鱸咸魚不是很多地方可以買得到，原因是這些青鱸魚是漁民自己在南丫島飼養，青鱸魚由魚苗開始已經被餵食小海魚長大，相比一般餵食飼料長大的魚，肉質肉味當然與眾不同。
